Are all items vintage or antique?

Yes, all items are vintage or antique, thereby possessing some degree of wear. We embrace the patina and unique nature of the pieces. When necessary we structurally restore the rugs to maintain their integrity. In beautiful pieces that have an aesthetic value but are too worn to perform well in high traffic areas, the condition is noted in the product description and reflected in pricing.  

Are the rugs and textiles pre-cleaned?

Yes. All rugs for sale on the site are professionally cleaned before being shipped to the customer.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within two weeks of delivery. Customer is responsible for return shipping and a restocking fee of 15% of the original price will be applied against the refund OR customer can choose a full credit toward another purchase on Detroit Rug Restoration. Rugs must be returned in the condition that it was delivered. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Refund will be processed once received and inspected. 

When approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
