This vintage Turkoman rug is a perfect backdrop in any room. Hand-knotted in Turkmenistan these rugs are among the most popular handmade rugs in the world for their soft, luxurious feel, heavy pile, attractive colors and design that consists of repeating octagonal figures called guls, usually on fields of vivid color. This rug has a pleasing deep red background. There is some sun fading at one end. Full pile and fringe. Overall condition is very good.
