Circa 1920, an eye catching antique handmade wool Persian Qashqai rug. This piece was hand-knotted by the Qashqai tribe, pastoral nomads who have long been recognized as skilled and prolific weavers in Southwest Iran. Exquisitely intricate geometric/floral design in earthy reds, browns, ivory and persimmon. Low pile. Overall condition good. Beautifully mellowed with age.
