Room-size Semi-Antique Bibikabad

This semi-antique Bibikabad rug, circa 1950, has a vivid red palette and demonstrates a Persian heritage (hand-knotted in Western Iran in the village of Bibi Kabad) while displaying ancient Turkish weaving techniques--a perfect meld of two cultures. The rug is room size and has a small amount of dye run, good full pile and all edges and ends have been secured.

("Bibi Kabad"means "the village of grandmother")
